New from Gihon Water Company: Invoices in English
Jerusalem is unquestionably the capital of immigrants who come to Israel and the favorite haunt of tourists staying in Israel for long periods. While most businesses and corporate service providers in Jerusalem accommodate immigrants and newcomers by offering their services and invoices in English, the Gihon company lagged far behind in this area.

Israeli Shortcut, that was founded for the aim of cutting through the Israeli bureaucracy that has hamstrung the immigrant and foreign citizens population in Israel for years, contacted Gihon and asked that they provide their services in English. For years, thousands of the company’s customers have complained that they do not understand the information on Gihon’s bi-monthly bill due to the fact that they are not fluent Hebrew-speakers.
Israeli Shortcut is pleased to announce to the thousands of non-Hebrew-speakers in Jerusalem that this problem has been partially solved. If a customer contacts Gihon and asks for an invoice in English, Gihon will oblige.
In addition to sending invoices to clients’ mail addresses, Gihon also recently began sending invoices by email at the request of the client.
Kudos to Gihon for changing their invoicing to accommodate English-speaking clients. Israeli Shortcut looks forward to them introducing telephone services in English, and hopes that other service providers will adopt this positive trend.
